Update 8th May

 VOUCHER - Well done to Jonathan Egan who won this years voucher competition for a "free sub" with a net 63. Lee McKillen also had a nett 63, and just lost out on countback. Lee played the course in 4 over par gross on the day. 

Charlie O'Donnell claimed the gross and Michael Reid was 3rd.

INTERCLUBS - Hard luck to Shane O'Dowd's Pierce Purcell Tournament team who had an away loss to Strokestown on 7/5/23. Next up from the club on the interclub front are Aisling Gaughran's Challenge Cup team also against Strokestown this coming Friday the 12th. Also in action soon are our teams in the 2nd round of the 9-hole clubs competition and our Seniors team in the Fred Perry Cup.


FIXTURES - Next weekend's competition for the men is the 18 hole Stableford PGA Tankard. The new date for the Committee Cup will be announced soon. The Mens mid week competition continues every Thursday.


JUNIOR GOLF - Just a reminder that our Junior Lessons are continuing for the next few weeks. The 8th and 9th holes will be closed from 12-1 on the Saturdays that the lessons are taking place so please ensure you have played through the 8th tee by 12 noon if playing on a Saturday morning.


INDIVIDUAL GOLF LESSONS - Golf professional Enda Murphy will be available for the next few Saturdays directly after the Junior Lessons at 1pm for individual lessons if anyone wishes to book one. He can be contacted on (085) 273 3730


LADIES "IMPROVERS" - This group continues on Wednesday evenings.


RESULTS - Mens 9 hole Thursday competitions - 27/4/23 1st Michael McHale 19 points, 2nd Jonathan Egan 18, 3rd Noel McKenna 16. No 2s club winner.


CONDOLENCES - The club expresses it's  condolences to Mark Feehan on the death of his father Nicholas.
