INTERCLUBS - Well done to our Connacht Shield team captained by Niall Kearney who had a tight win over our neighbours in Ballaghaderreen Golf Club. Boyle had won 2 of the games at home comfortably and had lost the 2 away games in Ballaghaderreen, so the deciding game was the last one in Boyle where Terry Canning and Charlie O'Donnell were all square after the first 18 holes, thus proceeding to a "sudden death" playoff. Terry and Charlie eventually prevailed after 20 holes of golf, clinching the overall result for Boyle. The team pairings were :

Adrian King and Brendan Gaffney, Terry Canning and Charlie O'Donnell, Lee McKillen and Lochlainn Conboy, Tom Kearney and Ciaran Beirne, Tadhg Lowe and Cillian Doyle. Best of luck in the next round.
