Update 27th April

Well done to Paddy McLoughlin who won the Mens voucher competition on Sunday with a score of 63. Paddy said he was delighted to win and thanked his playing partners for supporting him and thanked the course committee for the great condition of the course. Charlie O’Donnell was 2nd with 65, Patrick Egan won gross and Paddy Nangle was 3rd with 65 (2nd year running) There was a great turnout for the competition with thanks to all who took part. The presentation of prizes that followed included the Spring League and Crumlin Classic.

Captain Michael Rush congratulated all the winners and thanked Charlie, Willie and the volunteers for the great condition of the course. He asked members to support the Club Fundraiser this coming weekend and the Quiz and Curry nite on Friday evening. He finished by congratulating the Ladies on their Challenge Cup win against Strokestown on Saturday. Paddy McLoughlin now leads the golfer of year competition, 2nd Charlie O’Donnell and 3rd John McGuinn. Full details on the noticeboard and also on the website.

Thursday night’s Mens competition was won by Pat Brogan 26pts, 2nd Liam Whyte 25pts, 3rd Owen Garvin 25pts. Fridays scramble was cancelled due to bad weather

The first round of the mixed foursomes is complete, details on noticeboard. The King Harmon draw details are on the noticeboard and in the Members section on the website.

Competitions for this week are the Mens Competition on Thursday and Friday is a nine hole Scramble. Next weekend is a Club Fundraiser which can be played Saturday, Sunday or Monday. Format is a four ball rumble and entry is €25 per person including hot meal. Re-entry is €10. Prize fund is €1200. A Quiz & Curry Night” takes place on this Friday May 1st.  Food will be from 8.00 with Quiz at 9.00. Cost is €15 per person including Quiz & Curry with free entry to the scramble included. In Ladies news, well done to the Ladies who won their Challenge Cup match against Strokestown last Saturday 

A volunteers evening will take place on this Wednesday evening from 6.00 to prepare the course for the fundraising weekend. All support appreciated.
