JUNIOR GOLF REGISTRATION - Boyle Golf Club is running a course of 6 weekly lessons for primary school children, led by a teaching golf professional. Participants must be 8 years old by 1/7/23. Equipment provided. The lessons will be from 12-1 on a Saturday with a provisional start date of April 15. Places will be very limited as we have a small pool of volunteers. Price will be 50 euro for one child, 30 for any further children from the same family. FIXTURES - The Boyle round of the Holmpatrick Cup will be competed for by the mens' club on the weekend of the 25th and 26th of March.
The all-island fourball betterball competition, which
raises funds for the National Council of the Blind for Ireland, sees participating
golf clubs hold a qualifying tournament, with the winners going forward to the
county final. The county final victors then proceed to the provincial final,
with four provincial champs then playing off for the Holmpatrick Cup at St.
Andrews in Scotland.
