KING HARMON QUALIFIERS - Well done to Brendan Gaffney won week 3 of the King Harmon qualifying rounds with 44 points, which was achieved with a 2 over par gross. Conor Hamill came 2nd with 42 points. Each player’s best 2 cards from the 3 weekends were used for qualifying purposes which resulted in a requirement of 74 points to qualify for the match play rounds ( as compared to 70 points in 2019 and 72 points last year). The match-ups for the quarter-finals are :
John McGuinn vs Jason Beirne
Conor Hamill vs Frank Flanagan
Brendan Gaffney vs Lochlann Conboy
Owen Garvin vs Seán Purcell.
AGMs - The Ladies’ Club AGM will take place on Sunday the 7th of November, the Mens Club AGM on the 14th and the overall Club AGM (Management AGM) on Sunday the 28th, all meetings start at 5pm in the clubhouse. Every member is encouraged to attend both their respective Mens’/Ladies’ AGMs and the overall club AGM. Motions to be discussed at an AGM must be with the respective Secretary 7 days prior to the meeting, as must nominations to the committees. Nominations must have a proposer and seconder and the person being nominated has to have consented. New nominations are welcome to any of the 3 committees.
